He has white and red forehead markings, gold earrings, and sits with palms pressed together in namaste and eyes closed, a small white cloth or thread held between his fingers. Blue stained-glass panels appear at the upper right. The figure matches appearance cues for the a person in a ceremonial seated role, with a satsang or pada puja setting implied only by the throne and devotional posture.2014-08-17A smiling man with short dark hair sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet back and seat, carved lion-head armrests and floral gilded scrollwork. He wears a red silk drape over bare shoulders, a red dhoti and a rudraksha bracelet on his upper arm. He has white tilak lines and a red bindi on his forehead and wears layered gold and crystal bead necklaces with a gold pendant. A microphone on a stand is in front of him, and his hands rest on his knees. The swami identity cues qualify, so he is labelled a person in the depiction of a seated discourse setting.2011-02-19February 24 20112011-02-24A photograph of a seated man at the centre of a gilded, ornately carved arched throne, or peetha, with a golden repoussé backdrop.
