October 19 20132013-10-19A seated man in sleeveless saffron-orange robes draped over his shoulders and wrapped across his chest sits on a brown upholstered throne with a black carved wooden top rail. He has long dark hair falling to his shoulders, a small red bindi on his forehead, and his hands are clasped in his lap. Behind him is a red and yellow striped backdrop with a large red and yellow Tamil-style lettered design. Swamiji (probable): he wears saffron robes and long hair on a throne, a presentation consistent with the page's Swamiji reference.2010-08-21October 23 20102010-10-23Close photo of a man with long dark hair sitting with arms crossed, wearing a loose orange saffron shawl over his shoulders. He has a white horizontal forehead mark with a red dot at the centre. Behind him, blurred figures in orange robes are seated.2008-07-03May 08 20122012-05-08 +1 copiesClose photograph of a man with long, swept-back black hair and a white horizontal tilak with a red dot on his forehead, wearing a draped saffron-orange silk garment across his chest and shoulders. He sits with his hands clasped, gazing to the side. Behind him, a partly visible man in an orange shawl sits near a reddish wall.2008-07-03A man with short dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead sits on an orange cushioned seat, hands clasped in his lap, wearing a loose orange sleeveless robe draped over one shoulder. Behind him stand brass vessels including a kalasha-style pot and a brass bowl with a pedestal, a purple cloth, and a white deity murti draped with a white beaded garland. The setting appears to be a temple or ritual space. The person is seated and not in a procession. The orange robe and seated posture, with no crown, long swept-back hair or rudraksha malas visible, do not clearly establish a specific identity.2010-07-04A man with short dark hair and a red bindi on his forehead sits in a large brown upholstered chair with a dark carved wooden crest. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe and a long rudraksha mala of dark beads with a white thread between them. His hands rest in meditation mudra on his lap. Behind him a backdrop shows large red and yellow decorative lettering. The person is a seated devotee or sannyasi and does not match the page's no flag for a person; identity is unsure.July 03 20082008-07-03July 22 20102010-07-22Photograph of a man standing indoors against a pale wall, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange garment with a matching orange shawl draped over one shoulder and across the chest. He has long dark hair pulled back and a red kumkum mark on his forehead. The background shows a white wall and a dark doorway frame. Appearance cues (long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, forehead mark) are consistent with a sannyasi presentation, but the face alone does not establish identity, so the person is described by role only.2008-07-10A seated man wearing an orange-saffron cloth draped over his head and body, with a light tilak mark on his forehead and a rudraksha-style bead necklace visible at the chest. He sits on a black leather chair with hands clasped in his lap, a black bead bracelet on one wrist, and appears to be speaking. A white plastic chair and blurred equipment are visible in the background.2012-05-08 +1 copies
