On a red-cushioned throne-like seat sits a figure in saffron-orange robes wearing a yellow garland, with a red backrest behind. Two seated attendants in white clothes sit on the red dais steps, one a young boy in white, flanking a red cloth with brass oil lamps. A standing man in white clothes stands on the floor to the left, and a woman in an orange sari stands at the right edge beside ceiling fans and air coolers. The seated central figure's appearance is consistent with a candidate for a person, with saffron robes and a garland, though his face is not clearly visible enough to confirm.2012-10-27Indoor event hall with a draped gold-and-maroon curtain backdrop behind a decorated stage. A central altar-like platform holds flower garlands, a small gilded shrine with a deity murti, and a seated figure in orange robes with a crown-like headpiece. Brass oil lamps stand on the stage floor. A woman in a green sari stands near the altar, and a figure in white stands at the left edge. Rows of seated devotees in white and orange sit on mats, many in orange robes, facing the stage. Tripod-mounted lights and a microphone stand flank the stage. Ceiling fans and a balcony line the upper hall.2005-11-11January 04 20102010-01-04 +1 copiesNovember 07 20112011-11-07Indoor hall with a polished white floor, dark red drape backdrop and white ceiling fans. A large gilded throne stands centre-back with a red cushion and a framed portrait of a long-haired figure in orange-toned clothing set on its back. An orange mat covers the stage floor. A man in white clothes sits cross-legged at a lectern on the left, speaking into a microphone. Several people in white and yellow sit near the throne. In the foreground, video cameras on tripods and a monitor face the stage, with people in white seated at a table below. The portrait is a depiction, and no one seated at the throne is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2011-01-01A photograph of a stage in a hall with red curtains and a gilded lion-figure pillar at left. A man with his back to the camera, bare-shouldered in a red-orange wrap, films the scene on a tripod-mounted camera. On the raised platform, six people sit and stand: at left a woman in white with a black-and-gold top, then women and a man in saffron-orange garments with rudraksha malas, and women in white saris with beaded necklaces. A woman in a white sari stands at the platform rail on the right. Red carpets and a wall air conditioner are visible.2017-05-20July 21 20142014-07-21A photograph of a large hall with a polished white floor and a maroon curtain backdrop across the stage area. Rows of black chairs with red seats are arranged on the floor, and a long peach-coloured runner stretches down the centre aisle. Several people are working at the left side near a golden ornamental structure, one man wearing a saffron-brown garment and beads. A man in a white shirt sits near the right edge among chairs. Framed pictures hang on the left wall, and a dark signboard sits on the back wall. The scene appears to be a setup in progress before an event.2016-09-09
