Outdoor morning scene on a paved courtyard at a red-and-white platform with a red pillar and an arch. A figure in an orange shawl over peach-coloured dhoti, barefoot with long dark hair, walks up the steps away from the camera. To the right, a bald man in a white hooded sweatshirt and white trousers with a black waist pouch stands barefoot on an orange mat with palms pressed together in anjali. Another person in white clothes stands at the right edge, also with hands folded. Palm trees, a concrete wall and a frangipani tree sit behind.

August 05 20102010-08-05A photograph of a procession at an outdoor ashram courtyard in misty morning light. In the centre, a barefoot figure in saffron-orange robes wears a gold headband, a long garland of beads and flowers, and holds hands in anjali mudra. Behind him, a man in an orange robe and a person in white dhoti walk, one holding a long pole under a ceremonial canopy. Other white-clad men in dhotis walk in the left background. On the right, several men in white dhotis and shawls stand with hands folded beside an orange-draped platform, and a man in a grey vest and khaki trousers stands among them. Orange cloth covers the ground, and a green paper sheet lies on a white mat.2010-12-27Outdoor ashram courtyard with hexagonal tile paving, a white-and-red striped platform at left, and a reed mat laid as a walkway. Two saffron-robed sannyasis walk along the mat: the front one wears an orange robe and a long rudraksha mala and is barefoot; behind him a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and shawl walks. A third saffron-robed monk stands barefoot at right with hands clasped. About a dozen men in white shirts and dhotis, some with lanyards, stand along the edges with palms pressed together in greeting. A row of small stone figures and a striped pillar appear in the background.2010-10-24Outdoor photograph on a paved courtyard in warm low light. In the foreground a figure seen from behind wears an orange saffron wrap with a maroon border and a dark hair bun, standing at a red pillar. Facing them, a row of men in white shirts and white dhotis stands with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, some with heads bowed. A bald man in glasses and a white shirt stands at the right edge, also with hands folded. A shaved-headed person in the lower foreground is partly visible. The orange-clad figure is not clearly identifiable as a person from this view, so the appearance-based label is unsure. A white vehicle is visible in the blurred background.2011-02-02Outdoor ashram courtyard under a corrugated metal roof with tall palm trees behind. A young man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, walks barefoot across a woven mat toward a red-and-white stepped platform. To the right, four people stand with palms pressed together in namaste: a man in white kurta, a man in an all-white outfit, and men in striped orange and light shirts. Behind them are rows of stone figures, a small fire pit with a flame, and a red-and-gold pillared shrine. Colourful tassel-like hangings decorate the roof poles, and a printed banner with figures stands at the left.2010-10-30A photograph taken outdoors on a paved walkway in warm, low-angled sunlight. In the left foreground, a figure seen from behind, bare-shouldered and wearing an orange-saffron robe draped over one shoulder with a red trim and a red-and-dark rudraksha-style neck garland, sits facing a group of men. Around six to eight men in white shirts and white dhoti-style clothing stand with palms pressed together in namaste, some with eyes closed, as a devotional gesture. A red pole stands at the left edge and vehicles are blurred in the background. The figure with the saffron robe appears to be a sannyasi receiving devotees, but the face is not visible and identity is uncertain.2011-02-02July 09 20102010-07-09Outdoor photo at an ashram courtyard with palm trees behind. In the foreground, two figures walk away from the camera up a stepped platform: one wears saffron-orange robes with a red border and a garland around the neck, the other wears white and orange-red dhoti-style cloth. Ahead, about a dozen people stand in a row with palms pressed together in greeting, most in white shirts and dark trousers, one in white kurta. A lamp hangs on a metal stand at left, and a garlanded doorway and a flower stall appear in the background.2011-01-31A photograph of a Hindu ritual setting outdoors with a sandy ground and burnt debris in the background. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a dark rudraksha mala walks barefoot across woven mats toward a white and red striped platform. Behind him, a bald man in a white dhoti and orange shawl walks, and a line of white-clad devotees with folded hands stands on the right, some with a bald man in white and a rudraksha mala. A bald priest in a white dhoti and orange shawl stands among them. The scene reads as a padapuja-style gathering, and the saffron-robed central figure shows no clear cues for Swamiji identification.2010-08-28Outdoor temple courtyard with palm trees and a red-orange shrine structure. A man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala walks barefoot along a woven straw mat, followed by two men in white dhotis with orange shawls, one holding a staff. A saffron-robed man stands at right. Behind them are dark stone deity sculptures, a sculpture garlanded with flowers, a brass oil lamp on the ground, and a ritual fire pit with a small yellow-cloth seat. A kolam design is drawn in white powder at lower left.2010-09-06 +1 copiesOctober 20 20102010-10-20August 07 20102010-08-07
