A large indoor hall with a tent-like white ceiling and a dark maroon curtained stage decorated with yellow and multicoloured hanging banners. Rows of people sit on the floor along a central yellow-marked aisle, many in white clothes with saffron/orange shawls, each before a brass plate of offerings and small vessels. Standing men in white shirts and white dhotis hold a flaming oil lamp and a small brass vessel, while others stand near the rows. On the stage, a figure in saffron/orange sits at the centre near a small table and flower decoration, with attendants in white nearby. The scene appears to be a ritual puja with lamps and offerings. Possibly a person figure is seated centrally, but the appearance is uncertain at this distance.
