May 28 20132013-05-28A long row of men and some women sit cross-legged on a polished cream marble floor, eating a meal served on green banana leaves. Each leaf holds mounds of white rice, small portions of colourful side dishes, pickles and sweets, with paper cups of drink beside them. In the foreground a bald man with glasses wears a white-and-grey striped shirt, white dhoti and a dark red cord, eating with his right hand. Beside him a man in a beige shirt and khaki trousers with a red cord also eats. Further along, men in white shirts and a purple top sit at the same line. In the background a brass oil lamp stands near a white-clothed figure and a table with a patterned cloth, and a few people sit along the far wall.
