A man on the right in orange with a rudraksha mala and white ash across his head sits with hands folded. Two men in white sit on chairs at the far back, with a red carpet and rows of red chairs in the background, and framed pictures decorate the walls.2013-12-07A large group of seated priests and young initiates in saffron-orange and maroon robes perform a ritual on a white floor. Many hold brass cones or spouts over rows of silver and steel bowls and pots set on the floor, with flower petals and offerings in some vessels. A priest in the centre wears a white dhoti, rudraksha mala and tripundra markings, pouring from a small bowl. On the left, a bald senior priest in maroon robes and a long rudraksha mala holds a cone. Brass lamps and a tray with kumkum and offerings sit in the foreground. The scene resembles an abhishekam or puja with many participants.2013-09-02
