May 25 20132013-05-25May 25 20132013-05-25A photograph on a stage with white sheet flooring and dark curtains. A seated man on a gilded red throne with floral garlands wears a cream turban, a red-maroon silk kurta with gold embroidered trim, a gold-toned shawl draped over one shoulder, and cream dhoti; he has a red tilak mark and smiles. A kneeling man in a white kurta and cream dhoti with a rudraksha mala presses his palms together in anjali toward him. Behind, a partly visible person wears orange. Yellow, orange and purple marigold garlands and white jasmine decorate the throne. Appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) seated in the throne with turban, red silk and gold shawl cues, receiving the kneeling devotee's reverence.2008-01-07January 07 20082008-01-07A photograph on a white-draped stage in front of a black backdrop. A man in a white jacket and cream dhoti kneels at right, holding his palm raised toward the head of a seated man. The seated man wears a cream turban with a red bindi, a dark red kurta with gold embroidered trim and a gold-bordered stole, and cream dhoti, sitting on an ornate gold-and-red throne garlanded with yellow, orange, and white flowers. A third man in an saffron-orange shawl with a gold chain and rudraksha mala stands at left, smiling. Gold throne carving and a seated figure with long hair, a crown or turban and distinctive ceremonial clothing make this an appearance-based probable match for Swamiji.2008-01-07A seated man on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet seat and a gold canopy above, wearing a pale cream and gold embroidered sherwani, a matching gold-embroidered wrap, a saffron-yellow turban and a long gold necklace. He sits with a flower arrangement of orange, yellow and purple blooms beside him. To the left, a man in a white shirt with a pendant necklace smiles and holds an orange fruit near a metal bowl. Standing at right, a man in saffron-orange robes and a matching headwrap, with a beaded necklace and a bright light stand behind him, holds an orange fruit. In the foreground, a figure in saffron-orange robes bends forward at the throne's base. A man in white stands at the far left edge, and an orange draped table sits in the lower left. The setting is a draped room with cream and orange fabric.A photograph of a long-haired figure in an orange-red robe seated on an ornate gold throne with silver-toned panels, backed by a garland of yellow and red flowers and flanked by gold lion carvings. A red and black tiger-striped cushion rests at his side. A man in a white shirt and grey trousers kneels in front of him, one hand raised toward the seated figure's face, in a blessing or healing gesture. The figure, seated centrally in orange and saffron robes with a red tilak on the forehead and a bangle on his wrist, appears to be Swamiji (probable) on the basis of his long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate throne, while the kneeling man is a devotee receiving or offering darshan. The white draped platform and floral decoration suggest a formal satsang or darshan setting.2008-10-04A photograph of a long-haired man in orange saffron robes seated on a white-covered chair draped with pink and gold brocade throws, his palms pressed together in prayer and eyes closed. He wears a gold bead necklace and a small red mark on his forehead. Devotees perform padapuja: a woman in a maroon top pours water over his bare feet from a gold vessel while a seated man in white kurta holds a gold bowl and a tray of pink flowers rests beneath the feet. Silver bowls, brass lamps and a silver basin sit on the floor.2009-10-11A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gilded throne backed by a carved golden arch decorated with yellow and red flower garlands, with red zebra-striped cushions. The seated person has long dark hair, a red bindi, and wears a flowing saffron-orange sleeveless robe over a red top. An older bald man in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels at the throne's base, wearing a dark rudraksha-style mala and a gold bangle, with his hand raised toward the seated figure. A visible badge on his shirt reads as a volunteer tag. Purple and magenta flower garlands sit at the lower left, and a dark blue backdrop fills the upper left. The seated figure's presentation matches the page's a person reference, though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2008-10-04A man seated on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions, wearing an orange-red robe with gold borders, a bare left shoulder, and a white-and-beige beaded mala necklace. A vertical tilak marks his forehead, and his hair is swept back and tied. His hands are clasped in his lap. Foreground shows a silver puja tray with rose petals near the feet, and a red patterned mat lies on the floor. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gilded throne, saffron-orange robe, and mala necklace; he is the seated central figure receiving attention. Indoor hall with wooden panels and a satsang setting.2014-01-22Photograph of a seated man on an ornate gilded throne with orange velvet cushions, wearing an orange turban, orange robes, a white jasmine garland with red flowers and a rudraksha-style necklace, and gold armbands. He holds a golden bird-topped staff in his right hand and smiles. Behind him a gilded pillar and red drapery. Nearby, a man in white with orange tilak holds a brass plate, and several women in saris sit to the right. In the lower left foreground, a white-haired person in orange is seen from behind beside a silver bowl, and a silver tray with offerings rests at the feet of the seated figure. Ceremonial satsang or puja setting.2015-05-27A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on the forehead sits on an ornate gold throne with lion-armrest sculptures, a gold canopy above and a backdrop of pink and yellow flower garlands. A kneeling man in a white shirt and orange dhoti bows with his head pressed toward the seated figure's hands, which are joined in namaskar. To the left, a standing attendant in orange robes holds a rudraksha mala. Red velvet cushions with tiger-stripe patterns sit on the throne.2008-10-11
