May 25 20132013-05-25A photograph taken from behind of a woman in a maroon and gold sari with a gold border, standing barefoot on red-and-white striped steps at the threshold of an open pavilion. Her hands are raised above her head in prayer. Ahead, a dim hall with red and white draped pillars and garlands leads to a shrine area with a deity murti and a blue cloth. A figure in orange robes with hands joined stands at the right edge, and a few other figures are faintly visible in the background.2013-05-29May 29 20132013-05-29May 29 20132013-05-29May 11 20122012-05-11A photograph inside a temple shrine doorway with marble-like walls and white carved frame. A man in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl with gold borders and a dark rudraksha mala stands at the threshold, head bowed, hands folded at his waist, with a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and mala at left holding a brass plate with flower petals. Behind them a gold deity altar and brass lamps with lit flames are visible. The man has a long hair knot and a crown-like ornament is not clearly shown; appearance is consistent with a sannyasi in saffron, but cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity. Two physical people are present.2012-05-31May 09 20132013-05-09April 17 20132013-04-17 +2 copiesSeptember 15 20112011-09-15Photograph of a long-haired figure in a saffron-orange draped garment with gold border, wearing a gold-beaded necklace, standing barefoot on a concrete floor in a courtyard with red and white walls. Behind, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and shawl with gold-bordered cloth, a sacred thread-style mala and a tilak on the forehead stands with palms joined near a barred window. To the right, an ornately carved wooden stand supports a silver vessel. One figure is a person in orange with long hair and gold necklaces, plausibly a person by appearance cues alone; the second man is a priest-like attendant in white.2011-08-19May 15 20122012-05-15 +1 copiesA blurred photograph inside a temple shrine. In the foreground a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with a gold-and-orange waistband and multi-strand rudraksha beads bends forward over a grey stone ledge, reaching toward an ornate shrine. Behind, a shaved-headed man in an orange shawl with a white tilak on his forehead stands near a window with trees outside. Right, a deity murti is decorated with white flower garlands and a red-and-gold cloth, with a golden kalasha and a lit brass oil lamp nearby.2013-05-09
