December 07 20132013-12-07A seated man in a deep red-orange robe and matching turban with a flower ornament sits on an ornate carved throne with gold scrollwork and armrests. Two golden lion statues flank the throne, and a yellow fringed parasol stands above it. Behind is a large printed backdrop showing a smiling man in an orange turban beside a photo of a Balinese temple with a pagoda-style roof and green landscape. In the foreground, a shaved-headed priest in orange sits with his back to the camera before a tray of brass dishes and offerings. At right, a woman in white with folded hands kneels. The seated man has long hair and a rudraksha-style mala, but the throne and turban alone do not establish identity, so the appearance is only partly confirmed. The backdrop shows a printed portrait, not a physical person.2013-12-21 +1 copiesA seated figure in rust-red robes and a maroon turban with a white plume sits on an ornate red and gold throne with golden lion figures at each side. He wears a multicoloured garland, a rudraksha necklace and gold armbands, and smiles. In front, a bald priest bare-chested with a saffron cloth and rudraksha mala holds up a silver lamp with a flame during aarti, with white flowers on a plate below. Behind is a large saffron-and-gold panel photo of a smiling man in orange, and a painted backdrop of a temple pavilion among greenery. The throne has a gold canopy with tassels above it.2013-12-17April 24 20162016-04-24December 07 20132013-12-07April 23 20152015-04-23A seated figure on a red and gold throne with golden lion statues flanking it, wearing a red-orange robe, a red-orange turban with a jewelled ornament, a long yellow-and-blue flower garland, a gold necklace and bangles, and holding a rudraksha mala. A shaved-headed priest in orange-brown robes faces the throne and offers a silver ritual implement, while a woman in white with folded hands kneels at the right edge. A large portrait behind shows a smiling man in an orange turban and a Bali-style pavilion with a yellow tasselled canopy above the throne. The Swamiji candidate matches the cues of a seated figure in saffron-red clothing with a turban, garland, gold jewellery and mala, so this is an appearance-based probable identification rather than a confirmed one. Flower offerings and a brass tray sit on the red carpet below.2013-12-21A seated man in saffron-orange clothing sits cross-legged on a red tiger-striped cushioned platform before an ornate gilded throne with lion carvings and a golden arch. He wears an orange turban, a red bindi, a shawl draped over his shoulder, layered rudraksha mala beads, a gold ceremonial necklace, gold armlets and bangles, and a small lapel microphone. He smiles and gestures with his hands. A tiger-skin rug covers the platform, and gold hanging lamps and bead strings decorate the background. Appearance cues (turban, saffron clothing, rudraksha malas, gold necklace, throne setting) make this a probable identification of Swamiji, so the swamiji value is in_person.2013-07-08 +1 copiesDecember 07 20132013-12-07December 17 20132013-12-17May 27 20152015-05-27December 20 20132013-12-20
