A photograph of a padapuja in a hotel hall. A man seated on a red-upholstered throne with gold lion-armrest carvings wears an orange-red robe, a red and gold garland and a red turban, and raises a silver staff. Before him on an orange cloth, a woman in white with a rudraksha-style mala and a woman in a mustard-gold sari sit with folded hands; a woman in white and a man in white kneel nearby. Several brass thalis hold lamps, flowers, rice and kumkum, and a silver-rimmed bowl sits near the dais. A woman in orange sits on the cloth beside a small girl in orange. Behind, a man in orange sits near audio equipment, a camera on a tripod stands beside them, and more people in white sit on the carpet.2013-12-08A seated man on an ornate golden-and-red throne flanked by golden lion figures wears a maroon-and-red turban, a long red and white flower garland, and a saffron-brown robe, with gold bangles on his wrist. Before him on a red-draped platform, devotees sit in prayer: a young girl in orange robes with a forehead mark, a man in white with a rudraksha mala, a woman in a mustard sari with folded hands, and a man in white clothes. Silver plates with oil lamps, flowers, fruits, a conch-shaped bowl and a white lotus form a puja offering in front of them. Another person in white stands with palms joined at the back of the hall beside sound equipment. The image may show a padapuja-style offering, and a Swamiji (probable) appears on the throne in a saffron robe, turban and garland.2013-12-08Indoor ceremony in a carpeted hall where a padapuja is being performed. A seated figure on a red and gold throne with a golden lion statue beside it wears a maroon-and-gold turban with white feathers, a red and blue beaded garland, gold necklaces and bangles, and holds a small wand. Devotees sit on the floor in orange and red saffron clothing with rudraksha malas; one older man in white dhoti and shawl with a white forehead mark and red-and-white beads kneels with hands in anjali. Brass thalis hold flowers, rice and oil lamps, and a tall brass kalasha stands at the left. A projector screen and tripod are visible in the background.2013-12-17December 11 20122012-12-11December 08 20132013-12-08A seated man on a red and gold throne with golden lion armrests, wearing a saffron-red robe, a gold-and-red ornate crown, a long gold necklace and a bare upper body, sits with hands resting and feet bare. Before him on a red cloth, women and a man in white clothes sit in a padapuja, with brass plates holding flowers, fruit, yellow sweets and lit oil lamps. A woman in a purple sari and a woman in white wear red and rudraksha malas. Behind them a man in a red-brown robe sits, and a man in white sits near a sound mixing desk and camera on a patterned carpet. The setting is a hall with a dark wall and plants.2013-12-13A seated man on a golden lion-armed throne, wearing a maroon turban, maroon robe and a long red and white flower garland, with gold armbands, receives reverence. Before him on a red-and-orange cloth, devotees in white and cream clothes sit with hands folded in anjali. Brass plates hold flowers, yellow petals and red kumkum, and a white lotus lies on a tiger-skin rug. A girl in orange sits at the side, and several people in white kneel in the background near a sound desk. The scene suggests a padapuja in a hall. The seated man's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance here, so he is described by role only.2013-12-08A photograph of a padapuja during a satsang event. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange shawl with a rudraksha-style beaded garland, sits on an ornate red and gold throne flanked by gilded lion sculptures, holding a white fly-whisk-style staff and a small hand drum. Several devotees sit on the floor before him: a woman in a white sari with a pink blouse holds a silver thali of flowers and lamps, a woman in white with a rudraksha mala sits nearby, and an older man in white with glasses has his hands folded. Brass plates with offerings and flower petals lie on the floor, and girls in white sit in the foreground. Behind them are a large screen and a green plant.2013-12-11December 08 20132013-12-08Indoor ritual scene in a hall with a gilded golden lion throne and a golden lion figure. A man seated on a red-brown cushioned throne wears a dark maroon turban with a white feather, a maroon-brown robe, arm bands and a long multicoloured garland of red, green and white flowers. A woman in white kurta with a red shawl sits with eyes closed, hands folded. Several people in white and red-trimmed clothes sit around a low table with brass plates of flowers, fruit and offerings. A small framed portrait of a saffron-turbaned figure sits on a shelf beside a golden lion. A large screen and a tropical landscape photo hang on the walls. The man on the throne shows an appearance consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, with a turban, a long garland and distinctive maroon robes, so this is a probable candidate.2013-12-17December 28 20122012-12-28December 17 20122012-12-17
