Outdoor ashram scene on a paved courtyard with hexagonal tiles. In the foreground a man with long dark wavy hair, a red bindi and a dark rudraksha mala wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe and walks barefoot toward the viewer. Behind him, a bald man in a white kurta and white dhoti wears an orange shawl and walks with others. Further back, several men in white garments with yellow or orange shawls walk or stand on a sandy ground with circular ash-or-earth ritual platforms, near a stone lingam on a red-and-white pedestal, palms and a yellow-painted post. A white kolam is drawn on the tiles in the lower foreground.

A photograph of a procession climbing stone steps outdoors under a clear sky, with a white metal railing and a wall with a painted mural at right. At right, a barefoot man with long swept-back dark hair and a dark beaded necklace wears a loose orange saffron wrap and walks upward. Beside and behind him, several shaved-headed men in orange and white ritual clothing wear gold-bead necklaces and gold-trimmed white dhotis; one in orange holds a long red pole, and one in orange carries a small orange cloth. A man in a red shirt with white dhoti walks among them, and a youth in white with a gold necklace stands at center. Swamiji (probable) is the barefoot figure at right, identified by long swept-back hair, orange saffron wrap, and dark beaded necklace, in a procession role.

A photograph of four men walking along a covered brick walkway outside a building, with parked vehicles and greenery in the background. On the right, a man with a shaved head and dark hair swept back, wearing a gold-threaded reddish-brown dhoti, a gold garland and a gold-and-pearl necklace, walks barefoot and smiles. Behind him, a white-bearded elder in saffron-orange robes with a red flower garland carries a staff. A saffron-clad attendant holds a decorative white-and-gold parasol above the group. Two other men in reddish-brown dhotis walk nearby, one with a rudraksha mala. Four physical people are visible.

A photograph of a group walking barefoot along a stone-paved path beside a high stone wall toward a white gopuram of Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai. In the centre, an older bald man in a saffron-orange shawl walks beside a younger man with long dark hair, wearing orange robes and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, who smiles and holds his hands together. Behind them a woman in a red-and-gold sari and men in white dhotis walk, one holding a garland of yellow and white flowers and others wearing pink rosettes. A uniformed police officer stands at left under a tree. Overcast sky above.

A young man in saffron-orange sannyasi robes and a dark rudraksha mala walks barefoot along a woven mat laid over a paved courtyard, eyes lowered and hands folded at his waist. Behind him, several men in white dhotis and kurtas stand on mats with palms pressed together in namaskar, while one man in a maroon shawl and white dhoti stands nearby. Colourful striped and painted poles with floral patterns frame the open-air hall, with palm trees and a stone structure with a red base in the background. The ceremonial setting suggests an ashram procession or reception.

Outdoor procession on a dirt path at dusk. A man with long swept-back dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead, a white and pink flower garland and a gold necklace wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with gold borders and smiles beside a bearded man in saffron robes and a gold necklace who holds a tall gold trident. Behind them, colourful fringed umbrellas and silver ceremonial weapons are visible. On the right, a man in a white dhoti with an orange shawl and glasses stands facing them, and a woman in a red sari is partly visible. Attendants in saffron cloth stand to the left.
