Brass plates hold yellow marigold petals, a small heap of white rice or grain, a white conch-shaped shell, and an orange cloth with rudraksha beads. A brass oil lamp with a lit wick, incense sticks in a brass holder, a brass cup and small brass bowls are arranged around them. At top right, a person in white dhoti-style clothing with a red border and silver bangles pours or places an offering with a small brass spoon. Only forearms and hands are visible, so no face is shown.2010-11-24Close-up photograph of a puja setup on an orange cloth spread over a white floor. A person's hand, wrapped with a red rudraksha mala and a gold bangle, reaches over a brass tray holding yellow marigold flowers, a small brass deity murti, and pink petals. Nearby lie brass cups, a brass lota and bell, and burning oil lamps on a white cloth. The blurred foreground shows other devotees in white and light blue clothing seated at the same ritual. This looks like a pada puja, a foot-worship ceremony.2011-12-14July 06 20132013-07-06February 04 20172017-02-04 +1 copiesClose view of a floor-level puja setup on a woven mat: brass plates with yellow flower petals, a brass bell, a white conch shell, small brass cups of rice, incense sticks burning, and a lit oil lamp. Two hands of a seated man in white clothing with a thin red-and-gold bracelet are placing an offering. The image shows only hands and clothing, with no visible face. The ritual is a worship puja with conch, bell and flowers, no visible homa fire.2017-01-03Close-up photograph of a ritual tabletop arrangement.
