The centre dancer wears a maroon and gold silk costume with a gold waist belt and a white floral headpiece, a gold necklace and nose ring, her hands raised in mudras. The dancer to her left wears purple and gold, and the dancer to her right wears red and gold, each with a white floral headpiece, layered gold necklaces and bangles. The performance appears to be a Bharatanatyam-style dance during an evening cultural programme.2011-12-11A photograph of a Bharatanatyam-style dance performance on a red stage. Five women in traditional silk saris and jewelry stand in a row with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. Those in front bow forward with flowers in their hair; the woman at right wears an orange and maroon sari with gold borders and white flowers in her hair. Two seated audience members sit at the left edge against a pale wall, and a red backdrop with leaf designs fills the right side. Scattered petals lie on the stage floor.2010-12-26October 21 20122012-10-21October 21 20122012-10-21
