Vibhuti or a red tilak marks the forehead. The statue is garlanded with yellow, red and purple flower chains and stands in an ornate silver arch beneath a large tree. Its hands are in mudra positions, one holding a small object, and a carved animal base supports the seat. This is a statue, not a living person, so no physical people are present. The photo shows a deity murti or devotional statue in an outdoor setting.2010-12-26March 20 20152015-03-20
