In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron shawl and a dark-haired saffron-robed sadhu lead a procession, with a man in white dhoti and white shirt, a man in a striped yellow shirt, and a uniformed police officer in khaki following. A woman in a blue sari with floral print stands in the foreground, and a woman in green sari walks on the left. Fruit offerings are displayed at the right. Black Tamil-language signboards hang on the walls.2012-09-11A photograph of a group walking through a temple doorway flanked by blue-painted metal gates, under an ornate painted and carved wooden ceiling with circular medallions. Beside and behind them walk a man in a khaki police-style uniform, a bearded man in an orange-saffron robe, two women in pale blue and light green saris, and a man in white dhoti and shirt in the foreground. The ornately carved wooden ceiling above is painted with circular patterns and a hanging lamp is lit. A central figure in a bright red-orange robe with a gold-and-beaded necklace walks forward, flanked by women in pale blue and light green saris. A uniformed official in khaki with a belt stands beside her, and a man in a white dhoti and shirt with a tilak on his forehead walks at the front right. Several people in saffron and white follow behind. The figure in the red robe matches the a person appearance cues of an ochre-red robe and gold ornamented necklace, shown in procession inside a temple.2009-07-13January 04 20102010-01-04 +1 copiesJuly 13 20092009-07-13February 16 20072007-02-16A photograph inside a stone temple entrance with a blue-painted wooden gate and low hanging lamps on the walls. In the foreground a man in a yellow shirt and white dhoti walks toward the camera. Behind him a man in white dhoti walks barefoot, and a figure in a long orange-red robe with a dark rudraksha-style mala walks through the gateway, flanked by another person in orange. Several people in white and yellow follow down the passage toward a colourful decorated shrine area with a wooden beamed ceiling. The scene reads as a temple visit, with no visible sign of a homa or aarti.2009-07-14
