The man in the centre wears a white dhoti with a red-and-gold border, a bare upper body and a flower garland, and holds a bundle of grass. The man on the right wears a white dhoti with an orange-bordered cloth, a white head wrap and a green-and-white flower garland. A third, bare-chested man at left leans over the bamboo frame. Below them sits a red kalasha wrapped with flowers and green leaves, above a tower decorated with red, gold and green painted panels and sculpted guardian figures. The sky is pale blue.Outdoor photograph of a crowd gathered around a golden ratha-style shrine canopy under a thatched palm-leaf roof supported by bamboo poles. Inside the gilded shrine, two deity murtis sit against red drapery, with a standing figure in white near them. Beside the shrine a framed portrait shows a smiling man in dark clothing. Devotees in white shirts, saris and a bare-chested man in a white vest stand close together, and a man at right holds a camera. Behind them is an unfinished brick building wrapped in bamboo scaffolding, under an overcast sky.2006-10-28November 11 20132013-11-11A row of painted sculptures of seated saints or sages in a temple wall niche, each with long hair, rudraksha malas and bead bracelets. Figures wear white, saffron/orange and yellow garments, some with raised hands in gestures. Wooden poles and planks brace the scaffolding in front, with a blue-and-green painted wall and colourful painted panels below.2007-12-12January 03 20122012-01-03Interior photograph of a temple or hall showing a row of white statues on a raised wooden beam structure against a blue wall with a green band. The white figures wear red floral garlands and red beaded necklaces, with some showing dark hair and an upraised hand gesture. Rough wooden poles and logs frame the scene, with exposed wiring and fluorescent lights overhead. The statues are sculpted figures rather than living people.2007-12-12
