Three men perform Carnatic music seated on a woven mat before an orange-painted wall. The man on the left, in white shirt and dhoti with a orange-beaded necklace, plays a wooden barrel-shaped drum (mridangam) with a red-brown body. In the centre, a young boy in a rust-orange shirt sits behind them, with a dark bag and a steel water urn beside him. The man on the right, in white shirt and dhoti with an orange cord and a wristwatch, plays a long bamboo flute (nadaswaram-style wind instrument). A woman in white sits on a chair in the upper right corner, and a glass display case stands at the left edge.

Musicians sit on red stone steps in white ritual dress. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti plays a long dark wind instrument, a nadaswaram, with a yellow cord hanging from it. Beside him a second man in white holds a drum with a red covering and metal rims, a melam-style percussion drum. Behind them, seated women and men wear white saris and white garments, with hands folded in prayer, and brass vessels and a lamp sit on the steps. The setting appears to be a riverside ghat with a metal railing.

A photograph of men seated on the floor of a hall with an orange and purple cloth beneath them, performing music. In the centre a man with long dark hair and a white tilak on his forehead, wearing a white shirt with an orange-yellow shawl and a rudraksha mala, plays a wooden drum with a yellow-strapped body and a light drumhead. Beside him a man in a white shirt and white dhoti with a white tilak sits, and a man in a maroon shirt with tilak sits at left. A black table with audio equipment stands behind them.

A seated man in a plain white kurta and dhoti plays a red and yellow mridangam drum on a stand with a microphone, in front of a large orange draped backdrop. A second person in a dark shirt sits at the right edge, partially visible. A black bowl rests on the orange mat in front of the drummer, and a small red cloth sits at the left. This appears to be a musical accompaniment setting, such as satsang or bhajan music, on an orange stage.

Most wear white shirts and white dhotis, one wears a brown patterned shirt, and one wears an orange-and-white shawl. Behind them, a seated man in a white dhoti and orange shawl sits on a leather chair near audio equipment. Spectators stand at the right edge. Other musicians' drums lie in the foreground.
