In the foreground, a bare-chested priest with a shaved head, wearing a red-and-gold dhoti-style cloth and a beaded rudraksha-type mala, raises a silver multi-flame lamp high with his right arm. Seated on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion is a figure in saffron robes with a saffron turban, a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured necklace, with a tiger-skin cover on the footstool. The backdrop is a purple cloth printed with large deity figures, flanked by tall brass lamps and a brass trident, with a red valance above. Appearance cues for the seated figure are visible but the image is small, so identity is uncertain; the seated figure is described by role only.April 28 20152015-04-28September 24 20122012-09-24A seated figure in an orange-red robe and matching turban sits on an ornate throne draped with yellow and red-and-white floral garlands, a golden lion statue beside him. He wears a long red-and-white garland, a gold necklace and gold armbands, and his eyes are closed with a serene expression. In the foreground a bare-chested priest in the blurred foreground raises a ceremonial staff, with a brass lamp and a metal plate of offerings in front. Golden standards and a gold-rimmed umbrella frame the scene against a maroon backdrop. The figure wears ornate gold jewellery and a saffron-orange robe on an ornate throne, with an attendant in an orange turban behind the throne, consistent with a ceremonial process setting.2015-07-13April 28 20152015-04-28A seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-like figures, smiling, with a rudraksha-style bead necklace and bangles on his arms. Brass oil lamps hang and stand around him, and many small lit oil lamps line the dark wall behind. Two women in white and red saris sit at the lower left with hands folded in prayer. In the foreground are brass plates of offerings with pink flowers, red petals and sweets, and a man in a white shirt is partly visible at the bottom. The scene suggests a puja or darshan setting.2011-12-25A seated figure in orange-saffron robes and an orange head wrap sits on an ornate gilded throne with carved floral and scroll patterns, against a red backdrop and gold drapery. A priest with a shaved head, wearing a red-orange dhoti and shawl and sacred thread marks on his arm, faces him and holds a lit multi-flame aarti lamp with flames rising. A silver trident stands in front of the throne, and a tiger-striped cloth covers the seat. The scene suggests an aarti being offered to the seated figure during a ritual. The seated figure has long hair, a beaded necklace and rudraksha-style beads, which fits Swamiji (probable) as a seated honoured guest or teacher being offered aarti by the priest.2013-02-11June 05 20122012-06-05February 10 20132013-02-10
