April 23 20132013-04-23April 23 20132013-04-23A photograph of a single figure standing on a raised platform inside an ornate temple-style set with a large ornamental golden-green arch framing the figure. The figure has long dark hair, a red bindi, a leopard-print waist cloth over dark skirt-like cloth, and holds a trident (trishul) upright in one hand. Colourful painted deity figures and pillars surround the set, and a brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at the lower right. Printed copyright text overlays the lower right. Appearance-based, the figure is a probable candidate for a person, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm, so identity is uncertain.2013-03-26A figure with long dark swept-back hair and green-painted face stands on a red throne-like dais, holding a silver trident upright in one hand while the other hand rests on the hip. The figure wears an orange and gold dhoti-style garment, a leopard-print bodice, rudraksha-style mala beads, bangles and an armband. Behind is a large gold arched prabhavali with repoussé patterns, a red and purple cosmic backdrop with a red crescent, and brass oil lamps stand on either side. Marigold garlands lie at the base. This appears to be a staged costumed portrayal rather than a plain ceremonial seat, and the figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2012-09-14A figure stands on a raised stage framed by a large ornate golden arch lit with red and green lights, with a smaller golden shrine niche behind. The figure has long dark hair and wears a leopard-print top, a red-orange lower garment, and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, holding a tall silver trident upright. A silver ceremonial pot or kalasha sits on the stage to the right, with white flowers at the base. A stylised tiger-striped throne-like platform sits below.2013-03-06March 29 20132013-03-29September 22 20122012-09-22A photograph of a man standing on a raised stage in front of a dark red arched backdrop framed by an ornate gold-toned arch with green lighting. He holds a silver trident in his right hand and wears a leopard-print sleeveless garment over pale pink lower garments, with a dark rudraksha-style mala and a light beaded necklace. He has long dark hair, a white forehead marking, and dark armlets. A second dark staff stands at the right edge.2012-09-15September 15 20122012-09-15A man stands on a raised platform under green stage lighting, in front of a large golden arch with embossed bead-like patterns and a red-pink sunset backdrop. He has long, wavy dark hair, a red bindi, and multiple dark beaded rudraksha-style malas around his neck, with a sleeveless patterned top and light draped lower garment. He holds a silver trident (trishul) in one hand and rests the other hand on his hip. Brass oil lamps stand on either side of the stage. The scene reads as a ceremonial stage presentation.2012-09-15March 29 20132013-03-29October 09 20122012-10-09
