Outdoors on a patchy grass field with bare dirt patches and scattered yellow flowers, a man in plain white dhoti and white upper cloth bends forward, barefoot, lighting or placing a small flame on a bundle wrapped in silver foil on the ground. A man in an orange saffron robe and sandals stands to the right holding a camera, while a bald man in a dark shirt is partly visible at the far right edge. A hillside with stone embankments and a dirt road lies behind them.

Around them, saffron-robed monastics with shaved heads and rudraksha malas stand among people in white dhotis, one with a gold-bordered shawl.
