Outdoor photo of a procession on a dirt lane lined with green shrubs, a long terracotta-coloured brick wall, coconut palms and leafy trees. In the foreground a young man in a dark t-shirt and jeans carries a large drum with a red cover slung over his shoulder. Beside him a boy in a yellow shirt plays a small hand drum. Several boys in white dhotis and shirts carry brass plates with offerings, while a man in white clothes walks nearby. Other children in white and colourful clothes follow further back along the lane, with a distant red-and-white figure at the head of the group.

Many wear maroon kurta-style tunics with gold trim and maroon dhotis, while several boys in saffron-orange robes with gold borders lead the group. One child in saffron holds a tall gold-topped staff aloft, another plays a hand cymbal, a girl carries a drum slung over her shoulder, and others sound conch-like horns or blow into their hands. Their faces bear white and painted markings. Along the roadside, adults in white and small figures stand in the background near a rock pile and a signboard.2013-06-19October 08 20162016-10-08January 01 20172017-01-01 +1 copiesA procession of young men dressed in white walks along a dirt path through green trees.
