A photograph taken from a low angle of a person in orange saffron robes and a gold-bead necklace pulling on an orange rope that hoists a large saffron flag with a white panel and a gold emblem. Dry palm fronds are tied to the top of the flag and the rope. Palm trees and a temple tower with carved stone are visible at the edge of the frame against a pale sky. The person wears a white forehead band, a rudraksha mala, and gold bangles, and looks upward toward the flag.2013-02-28September 29 20062006-09-29Low-angle outdoor photo of a dhvaja (flag) raising at a temple. A man in orange-red robes with long dark swept-back hair and multiple rudraksha malas hauls a rope that lifts a saffron-red flag decorated with green leaves up a tall ornate copper-toned pillar wrapped with yellow marigold garlands. A grey sky and a distant temple spire are visible behind. The robed man's distinctive long hair and rudraksha malas match the Swamiji (probable) cues, and the page indicates his presence, so he is treated as a probable candidate and the appearance-based label is applied; he is pulling the rope as a priest or devotee. One person is visible.2006-09-29Outdoors beneath a coconut palm, a person in a red-orange saffron robe and a red-and-white flower garland pulls a rope to raise a saffron-orange flag on a tall copper flagstaff. The flagstaff has carved ornamental bands, a small shrine-like niche and a yellow marigold garland at its base. A second person in orange cloth kneels at the lower right, partly out of frame. Bright sunlight and green palm fronds fill the background.2012-04-23December 22 20182018-12-22January 11 20162016-01-11Photo taken from below of a tall copper-clad flagstaff rising against a pale grey sky, with a carved wooden ornamental crest at its top and a bundle of white and yellow flower garlands wrapped around its base pedestal. Two people in orange-saffron robes raise a red-orange flag on a rope. The person in the foreground wears a dark beaded mala around the neck and holds the flag fabric high; a second person beside them, in orange clothing, grips the rope and looks upward. Palm fronds and trees frame the sides of the image.2010-07-01January 11 20162016-01-11January 02 20092009-01-02April 26 20202020-04-26Photo 11724129 +1 copiesA man in a red-brown cloth draws up a long maroon flag on a rope beside a tall copper pole, looking upward against a grey sky with palm fronds.
