A large dark stone Shivalinga, anointed with yellow and dressed with a garland of flowers, stands on a broad black stone yoni-peetha basin at an outdoor temple. Three horizontal white stripes, a tripundra, are painted on the linga. Behind it, priests in saffron cloth perform a rite on a raised platform on the red-painted temple building, and several saffron-clad attendants work near the basin at the bottom right. In the lower left foreground, a seated figure in a red-and-gold chair wears a red cloth and garland, appearing as a depiction; a robed attendant stands near the basin. Rows of small grey stone deity murtis line the terraced steps behind the linga, and red flags fly along the railing.2017-07-03A large dark black stone Shivalinga is wrapped with a garland of marigolds and white flowers in red, yellow, green and white, with silver bands across its front. Atop the linga stands a man in an orange-brown cloth with a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured necklace, seated on a raised platform with a metal ladder. Two men in white dhotis with tilak flank him, one at each side. Behind them is a red multi-storey building with an unfinished steel roof frame, and to the right a gold arch framing a dark deity murti of Shiva with trident. The scene suggests a Shiva ritual or pada puja at an outdoor temple setting.2017-07-03May 29 20172017-05-29Photo 11714843A large outdoor Shivling is the central subject, draped with a multicolored garland of marigolds and flowers in red, yellow, green, pink and white, with a white-and-gold sheen on its upper surface. Behind it, a group of men in saffron and orange clothing stand on a raised platform beneath a colourful fringed canopy, with one man in the centre wearing a white shawl and orange garment. Orange-clad attendants stand nearby on steps. Behind the platform stand a red brick building and black water tanks. A small drone hovers at the lower left over stepped brick terraces lined with small shrine stones.2018-01-01Outdoor photograph of a large polished black stone Shivalingam garlanded with a band of red, yellow, green and white flowers, with three silver bands and a silver disc on its front. Two shirtless men stand on a raised platform behind the lingam, one in a white cloth with a rudraksha mala and gesturing with one hand, the other partly hidden beside him. A metal staircase and a steel-framed structure rise beside them. Behind is a red multi-storey building under construction, and at right a gold-arched niche holds a dark deity murti.2017-07-03November 07 20162016-11-07January 01 20182018-01-01 +1 copiesFebruary 27 20142014-02-27A large black stone Shivling stands in a water-filled tank at an outdoor ashram, decorated with a multicoloured flower garland arch.
