December 27 20152015-12-27A woman with long blonde hair in a white dress with pink trim stands facing a woman in an orange sari-style outfit with a long dark ponytail, who wears a thin gold headband with a yellow forehead piece. The blonde woman lifts her hands to the headband at the other woman's forehead. Behind them, a man in a red turban and a red-brown garment sits on an ornate gold throne with a carved gold backrest. Gold-framed panels and a marble-patterned wall form the background. The setting appears to be a stage during a session.2015-12-27A seated man in a saffron-orange robe with a gold-bead garland and long dark hair extends his right arm and places his palm on the head of a young girl in a dark dress with gold trim, who has her hands raised in reverence. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha mala stands with hands folded. In the foreground a large gold-plated lion-headed ceremonial object gleams, with red drapes and a silver staff in the background. The scene suggests a blessing being given, with the figure appearing to be a probable Swamiji by appearance cues of long hair, saffron clothing and gold garland.2014-07-24A stage event photograph showing a smiling woman in a cream saffron-bordered sari with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace standing behind a young girl in a green blouse and pink-and-yellow skirt. The girl wears a black blindfold and stands with the woman's hands resting on her shoulders. To the right, a woman in a white-and-pink striped sari with a red-trimmed border holds a red folder and looks down at it. Behind them is a large gold carved figure and a backdrop of drums. A lanyard badge hangs from the girl and the standing woman on the right. Four people are visible.2015-09-06A seated man in red-and-maroon robes and a red-and-yellow marigold garland extends his right hand to bless the head of a young girl in a grey top. He wears a gold-toned waist garment and has a tilak on his forehead. Beside the pole, a woman in white clothes with a rust-coloured rudraksha-style mala and a red-orange forehead mark watches. Another girl in a dark hair bow and a woman in white with a folded brown shawl and bangles sit at right with palms pressed together in respect. A gold lion-headed seat ornament sits at lower left, and a silver pole stands in the centre. Behind them are a white wall with blue ornamental patterns and a gold-embroidered cloth.2014-05-17A seated figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron shawl over the shoulders and a small red bindi, smiling and resting a hand on the head of a young girl with two long braids. The girl, in a pink top with gold bangles, faces away from the camera with her palms raised in greeting. They sit before an ornate gold throne with carved lion-like motifs and deep red velvet cushions, with a ceremonial staff at the left edge. The setting resembles a darshan blessing on a stage. The figure's long hair, orange shawl and bindi match the appearance cues for a probable Swamiji, so the figure is recorded as Swamiji (probable) in the person seated on the throne, giving a blessing to a child.2011-12-11December 27 20152015-12-27 +1 copiesJuly 20 20152015-07-20October 25 20152015-10-25September 06 20152015-09-06December 27 20152015-12-27 +1 copiesA seated man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rust-red wrap and a long brown-and-beige rudraksha mala, places his right hand on the forehead of a shaved-headed young boy in an orange-yellow dhoti, gold-edged shawl and a red rudraksha mala. The boy kneels with palms pressed together, eyes closed, while the seated man smiles. Behind them stands an ornate golden throne with floral carving, and a tall silver staff rises beside it. Blurred figures in orange and red garments, gold garlands and a flower arrangement fill the background. The scene suggests a blessing or darshan moment during a ceremony.2014-12-28
