Four girls are seated or sprawled on the concrete, holding hands and extending their legs toward the center, while a fifth girl stands in the middle wearing a gold headband and beaded necklace, smiling as she steps over them. Bead necklaces and wristbands are visible, and a palm tree and bamboo stand behind the fence. About thirty young girls and women stand close together, most in saffron-orange saris and dresses, with some in purple, blue, green and pink outfits and bangles, earrings and garlands. A few women in white garments stand at the edges, and a small boy in a white kurta and red trousers stands at the front. Several participants fold their arms or have hands clasped, and the scene suggests a festival gathering such as a Krishna Janmashtami celebration.2016-08-25A large crowd of devotees stands outdoors under open sky and palm trees, many with hands folded in anjali mudra or raised in greeting. Most women and girls wear saffron-orange saris and blouses with rudraksha malas, while others wear red, green, blue and white saris. Gold bangles, earrings and necklaces are visible. A tall palm-trunk pillar and a metal ring frame stand behind them. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person in this view.2016-09-05A photo of six young girls in saffron-orange saris with maroon borders posed on large grey granite boulders beneath a tree. Several girls strike dance-like poses with outstretched arms and raised hands; the girl at the front right wears a rudraksha mala and a flower in her hair, and another stands barefoot on the rock at centre left. No a person candidate is visible.2013-04-08A group of young women and girls in orange and saffron saris with gold borders walks and dances outdoors among trees. Many wear rudraksha mala necklaces, white forehead markings, and bangles. A young boy in white with gold trim stands among them, arms out. Behind them, men and boys in white and rust-orange dhotis and shawls are visible, one holding a rudraksha mala. The setting appears to be a rural ashram courtyard with greenery and reddish earth.2015-11-16
