A group of devotees in saffron and orange ceremonial clothing stand outdoors in a dusty courtyard, smiling and posed together. Six men in orange dhotis and shawls with red borders wear large beaded necklaces with gold pendants, and several wear rudraksha-style beads. Women on the left wear orange and red saris with matching blouses and beaded necklaces. Behind them, ornate multicoloured umbrellas with fringed edges and decorated canopies are raised, and a tree and a covered walkway appear in the background. The scene reads as a ritual welcome or procession at an ashram.

Several women in orange and saffron sarees with gold borders stand in a row, hands folded in namaskar or touching the garland, some with heads bowed. Beside them, people in white kurtas and white dhotis, a few with red shawls, stand with palms pressed together. A man in a white shirt and dhoti stands at the far right. Behind, a crowd of devotees in white and red clothing watches. Pink petals scatter the ground. No individual is identified as a person.
