August 14 20082008-08-14 +1 copiesInside a large hall with a carpeted floor and recessed ceiling lights, a figure in an orange robe and orange turban walks down a red carpet runner between rows of chairs. Lines of people in white clothes stand on both sides with palms pressed together in namaste, greeting them. The men wear white shirts and light trousers, and the women wear white saris and white kurtas. The scene suggests a convention arrival, with the orange-clad figure at the centre of the aisle.2008-08-14Photograph inside a large tent-like hall with white fabric ceiling and decorative yellow and red hanging banners. A figure in orange robes walks down a central aisle with palms pressed together in namaste, flanked on both sides by rows of people in white ritual clothing standing with their hands folded in greeting. Several women on the right wear white saris with gold borders and red flowers in their hair. Camera equipment and a tripod stand near the aisle, and a row of framed photographs hangs on the back wall.
