A man in a long orange robe with long dark hair sits on an orange armchair with a microphone on a stand, apparently speaking. Behind him hangs a framed painted portrait of a robed figure in orange seated under a tree, with a garland. A small white podium holds a vase of pink flowers. Audience members in white clothes sit cross-legged on orange mats on the left, and women in white, pink and orange saris and a girl with a braid sit on the right. A white standing fan and a white board stand on the right side, with water bottles on the floor.A seated teacher in saffron-orange robes, with a shaved head and a rudraksha-style necklace, sits on an orange-draped raised seat behind a white podium with a vase of pink flowers and a microphone stand. Above him hangs a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure seated under a tree, labelled as a portrait. Seated on the floor in front of the platform are rows of devotees, mostly in white clothes, including women with braided hair and a woman in a pink sari, with a fan and whiteboard at the right side and a water bottle in the foreground. The scene is an indoor satsang or discourse hall with dark red drapes.October 09 20102010-10-09 +1 copiesA photo of a satsang hall with a dark red curtain backdrop. A man in orange robes sits cross-legged on an orange-draped raised seat, speaking into a microphone on a stand, his hands gesturing. A framed portrait of a figure in orange robes with a white bead necklace, seated under a tree, hangs behind him, and a small vase of pink flowers sits on a white pedestal to his side. Around 20 people sit on the floor facing him, including men in white shirts and women in white, blue and orange saris. A standing fan is at right. The man in the orange seat has long dark hair and distinctive orange robes, consistent with a person presence, and is labelled here as the speaker.2010-02-08October 09 20102010-10-09 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange saffron robe sits on an orange-cushioned throne-like chair on a raised orange platform, speaking into a microphone on a stand, with a small flower arrangement in a vase on a white pedestal beside him. Behind him hangs a framed painting of a saffron-robed figure seated in meditation beneath a tree, and dark red drapes cover the wall. Audience members sit cross-legged on floor mats facing him, many in white clothing, others in pink, white and colourful saris, with braided hair. A standing fan and a white screen or board stand at the right edge. A printed copyright line appears over the image. Swamiji (probable) appears as the seated speaker in orange robes with long, swept-back hair and a rudraksha mala, giving a discourse to the seated devotees.A man sits cross-legged in a cream upholstered armchair on a stage, speaking into a microphone on a stand. He wears a white kurta and white dhoti, a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, and a small name badge on his chest. His hands rest together in his lap and he is barefoot. Behind him, a large orange and black ornate throne stands in front of a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with long hair, a rudraksha mala and raised hand, seated before a banyan-like tree. A brass vase with red flowers sits on a white side table to his left, and a dark red curtain forms the backdrop. Behind him hangs a framed portrait of a similarly robed figure with long dark hair and a garland, beside a vase of pink flowers on a white podium. Dark red curtains line the back wall and a whiteboard and fan stand at the right. Audience members sit cross-legged on orange mats in white clothes and colourful saris, some holding bags and water bottles. A portrait labelled with a Swamiji reference is not legible, so the seated teacher is described by role only. Swamiji (probable) cues on the seated figure: long swept-back dark hair, saffron robes and a rudraksha-style necklace.April 12 20082008-04-12
