A photograph of a shrine-like setting with two life-sized gilded murti figures seated side by side on a raised platform, draped in green, blue and magenta cloth and garlanded with yellow and red flowers. The figure on the left wears an orange turban, white dhoti and layered gold necklaces, and holds a staff-like object; the figure on the right wears a red and gold sari and a crown-like headdress with a gold necklace. Before them stands a decorated green silk offering with a silver-patterned maroon panel, a rudraksha-style garland, and an arrangement of brass vessels, a kalasha-like pot, oil lamps, flowers and a conch-shaped object. A red velvet curtain forms the backdrop. These are statues, not physical people, so no people are present in the scene.2007-12-07December 07 20072007-12-07A photograph of a temple shrine containing two large festooned murti figures. The taller figure on the left is a gilded deity murti in a white and orange turban-style headdress, holding a staff topped with an ornament and raising one hand in blessing; it wears layered pearl-and-jewel necklaces and a dark patterned garment. Beside it, a gilded goddess murti wears a red and gold sari, a blue lower skirt, a jeweled crown-style headdress and multiple necklaces, with the other hand raised. Both are garlanded with yellow marigolds and red flowers. In front sits a smaller green-and-pink clad figure with a gold pendant and marigold garland, marked with a white forehead mark. Red velvet drapes hang behind the shrine and grey stone pillars frame the left edge.2007-12-07August 09 20152015-08-09September 26 20132013-09-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple shrine with large painted statues of a deity couple seated on a raised dais under a stone pavilion.
