Two large framed deity prints stand behind the altar: on the left, Shiva with trident and a seated family group including an elephant-headed child and a goddess in green; on the right, a goddess in red and gold holding a sugarcane stalk and a staff. Garlands of red flowers, white jasmine and rudraksha beads drape the prints. In front stand a small brass pyramid-shaped shrine, a red kalasha-like vessel, a lit tea-light in a brass dish strewn with white and yellow flowers, and small framed pictures of deities. Two small seated figures in gold thrones with red garments flank the altar. A large black deity murti in a yellow silk sari with a flower garland stands to the right, and small carved animal figures sit at the left. The floor is covered in leopard-print cloth.2022-02-15 +1 copiesA home shrine photographed head-on.
