Photo of a backstage preparation area at a temple event. In the centre a young woman with a tied-up hair bun and white forehead marking sits on a silver ornate chair, wearing an orange sari, layered rudraksha malas and a pendant, and gazing down with hands resting in her lap. Behind her a woman in a blue and gold sari applies make-up or adjusts her hair. Other women in orange saris and beaded necklaces sit or stand nearby, one at a small mirror on an ornate table. A red and white striped carpet covers the floor, with a glass case of white and gold miniature temple models at left and colourful banners at right.2018-04-14April 14 20182018-04-14July 08 20172017-07-08March 26 20172017-03-26July 08 20172017-07-08November 11 20162016-11-11August 14 20172017-08-14August 14 20172017-08-14A woman stands in profile beside a golden ceremonial trident (trishul) and a brass lamp in an ashram setting.
