A procession walks along a dirt road beside a cleared, reddish-brown earth lot under an overcast sky. A man in the centre wears an orange saffron dhoti and shawl with a yellow garland, and holds up a multicoloured ornate umbrella with fringed edges and a finial, which a companion helps steady. Around him, several men in white kurtas and dhotis wear orange shawls, some with rudraksha malas. A man on the left in a red shirt and orange dhoti walks ahead, and a tall gold-painted staff is visible at left. A low white boundary wall and a few trees stand in the background.
