A woman in orange-brown sari stands behind a gold-trimmed ceremonial backdrop draped with garlands and gold jewellery, and several women and a child in white and orange watch nearby. The setting appears to be a temple-style abhishekam darshan. A woman in a white sari with a red-orange rudraksha garland and gold bangles stands at right, extending her hands to receive a small paper card. A brass tray with more cards sits nearby. Behind them is a seated crowd in white and orange clothing, with banana leaves and a striped cloth hanging above.
