May 13 20132013-05-13May 13 20132013-05-13A stage in an indoor hall with red velvet curtains and hanging brass bells, where a row of devotees stands in two lines with palms pressed together in namaskar. Men on the left wear white dhotis, some with gold-bordered shawls and beaded necklaces; women wear white and cream saris with gold borders, and others wear orange, rust and maroon saris. At the centre, a seated figure in orange-red robes sits on an ornate gold throne with a canopy before a decorated backdrop with kalasha-style pillars; a golden peetha-like seat and brass lion statues and oil lamps sit on the stage. The scene reads as a formal darshan or ceremonial honouring. The seated figure's identity is not established by the image; a probable-candidate cue is the ornate throne and saffron-red robes, but this is insufficient for a firm identification.2013-05-13A stage in a hall with red curtains and an ornate painted backdrop shows a central figure seated on a gold throne beneath a golden canopy, with a dark-robed central figure wearing a red garment. Around the platform, about two dozen devotees sit in rows with palms pressed together in namaskar, many women in white and cream sari-style garments with gold borders and men in white dhotis. Golden umbrellas and small brass lamps hang above, with golden animal figures (a lion-like figure and others) placed on the stage floor and a golden deity statue at the right edge. Screens and monitors appear at the bottom right. The clothing is white, cream, saffron and maroon.2015-05-13November 05 20102010-11-05May 01 20172017-05-01A photograph of a ceremonial hall where a seated figure in saffron-orange robes, with a rudraksha-style necklace and a large floral garland, sits on an ornate golden throne beneath a golden canopy. Flanked by gold staffs and a trident-like standard, the throne is set on a raised white stage. Devotees in white dhotis and white saris, some with red shawls, stand in lines on orange mats, and a woman in a red-and-white sari bows low at the throne's base while a man in white prostrates on the floor in front. A figure in the foreground is seen from behind. Wall decorations include a painted temple backdrop and dark drapery.2010-11-05A stage interior with dark blue drapes and a backdrop photograph of a stone temple gateway. Centre, a seated figure in orange robes and an orange turban sits on a gold throne beneath a golden canopy, with floral garlands draped over the seat. Several devotees stand and kneel on orange and red mats around the throne: a woman in white with a red shawl on the left, a man in white, a woman in a green and gold sari, a woman in a purple sari, and a woman in white at the right. A kneeling person in a green top bows at the base of the throne, with children nearby. Ceremonial staffs and a trident stand beside the throne. The seated figure's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the depiction is treated as uncertain.2010-11-05A group photograph on a red carpeted stage under a gold-fringed canopy. A seated figure in a rust-red robe sits on an ornate golden throne with a red cushioned platform, hands pressed in namaskar. Around and in front of him, about twenty people kneel or stand with palms together, many wearing white dhoti-style clothing with gold borders and red shawls, and some women in white and red saris or orange sarees. Men with rudraksha malas and red shawls kneel in the front row, and a woman in an orange robe with a red shawl kneels at the far right. Red pillars with gold capitals and a trident-topped stand frame the scene, a ceremonial setting.2016-05-21A photograph of a stage event with a large ornate golden throne decorated with a golden canopy and red cushions, framed by green lighting and strings of flower garlands. Several devotees in white dhotis and saris, some in orange and yellow shawls, stand along the stage. A man in white bows low at the base of the throne steps, and a woman in white stands nearby. Scattered flower petals cover the floor, and a girl in white kneels in the foreground.2008-12-25A stage in a hall set for a satsang, with a central seated figure on a gold throne covered in orange cloth. The figure wears white and has long dark hair, with a red cloth draped across the lap. Flanking the throne are gold seats and oil lamps lit with flames. Behind are large deity murtis and framed garlanded portraits with floral decorations and a gold-fringed canopy. Several people in white dhotis and orange robes sit on the stage on either side, some with hands folded. Two seated devotees in orange are visible in the lower right foreground, and a shaved-head person in orange with a gold chain sits at the lower left edge.2010-11-10December 25 20082008-12-25
