Several wear name badges on lanyards, and some hold notebooks or papers. In the background, a large red throne-like seat stands before a small shrine with a kalasha or lamp arrangement. Blue and white banners with Tamil text hang on the right side. The seated devotees are attentive, and the scene suggests a public discourse session.2010-11-27Photo 11731691 +1 copiesA two-panel photo collage of a seated audience in a hall. The top panel shows men and boys in white and striped shirts seated on orange mats and plastic chairs facing a raised seat at the far left and a shrine with a deity murti and framed picture on the back wall. The bottom panel shows a larger audience of women in white and colourful saris and children seated on chairs and orange mats facing a small raised platform with a red-and-white chair and an orange armchair, with a figure in white and red seated on the platform and a screen at the back. Hanging decorations and bunting line the hall. A figure in saffron-orange clothing is visible at the far left of the upper panel, but appearance cues are insufficient to identify him.2010-06-27A large hall filled with seated devotees in white clothes, many in white shirts and dhotis, sitting on mats and cloth on the floor facing a stage at the far end. Hanging banners with orange and yellow decorations line the upper walls, and a decorated altar with a deity murti and lamps is visible at the front.
