October 10 20102010-10-10October 10 20102010-10-10A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange sleeveless robes with a long rudraksha mala and a red bindi, sitting on a white cushioned throne-like chair before dark red velvet drapes. A man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands at left, and a man in white kneels at the lower left in a devotional posture, touching the seated man's feet. Behind the throne, an orange-robed attendant stands by a white table holding a tray with orange cloth and beaded garlands. The seated figure has long swept-back dark hair, and his appearance matches the a person cues (long hair, saffron robe, rudraksha mala), so this is a probable depiction in person. The kneeling devotee performs padapuja at the feet of the seated figure.2010-07-14A photograph of a seated figure on an orange-cushioned throne-style sofa in a stage setting with dark red drapes. The seated man has long dark hair, wears an orange-red shawl over an orange sleeveless top, and a dark rudraksha mala; his bare feet rest on an orange footstool, and he holds his hands together in greeting. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands behind him at left. In the foreground, a man in white shirt and trousers bends forward toward the seated figure. A fruit platter sits beside the throne, and a white pedestal fan stands at left.2010-10-10A seated figure in orange robes with long, dark, wavy hair sits on a white-covered cushioned seat on a red patterned rug over a woven mat. A kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti, with grey hair and glasses, presses his palms together while the seated figure holds a rudraksha mala toward his forehead. A standing attendant in orange robes holding a mala stands at the left edge, and another person in white dhoti stands at the right edge. The setting is a plain white-walled hall. The seated figure's appearance matches the Swamiji description with long hair and orange clothing, so this is a probable identification.2008-09-30A photograph of a padapuja, a foot-worship ritual, in an ashram hall with orange floor cloth. A seated figure with long dark hair wears an orange robe and a multi-strand gold beaded necklace and holds a small tray of flower petals; a bowl of fruit sits on a wooden table beside her. A man in white kneels with his head bowed to her feet on an orange-and-gold cushion, a marigold garland around his neck. Standing devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, some with white and marigold garlands, fold their hands in namaskar, and one wears an orange shawl. Their hair and clothing show no identifying features beyond this.2010-07-24A seated man in an orange sleeveless robe with a long rudraksha mala and long dark hair sits on a white-draped chair and smiles as a man in a white shirt and grey trousers kneels on an orange mat, clasping his hands and reaching toward him. The seated figure has distinctive long swept-back hair, orange robes and rudraksha beads, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in person. Behind them, men in white and orange ritual clothing stand near a wooden tray holding green mangoes and offerings, with brass vessels and a red-flower bowl on a stone ledge. Two people are fully visible in the foreground, with others partly visible behind, making several people in all.2010-06-13October 10 20102010-10-10A photograph of a satsang hall. A man in a white shirt and cream trousers kneels and bows forward with his forehead near the orange cloth on the floor. Seated before him on an orange cushion is a figure in orange robes and a multi-strand rudraksha mala, with long dark hair, holding a green leaf in one hand and seated beside a brass plate of green leaves. The seated figure has long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and orange robes with gold trim, consistent with the Swamiji (probable) presentation. Behind them is a golden ornate throne draped with a red-and-white flower garland. A framed portrait on the orange chair shows a robed figure in orange with a rudraksha mala, seated on a platform. A microphone stand and a water bottle are visible. A person in a white garment stands at the right edge.2010-11-12A seated figure in orange saffron robes with long dark hair and a dark rudraksha mala raises one hand while sitting in a wooden chair on a red-orange mat. A woman in a white sari with gold border kneels with her forehead bowed to the floor before a brass tray holding green leaves and a steel tumbler, in what appears to be a padapuja-style veneration. Behind them another person in white and a figure in orange stand on the carpeted floor, and a table draped in white cloth with flowers and a small altar sits in the background. Water bottles and a brass bowl are set on the floor. Probable Swamiji is seated in the chair, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron robes and rudraksha mala as the presentation cues.2007-11-12A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair sits smiling on an ornate orange upholstered throne-like chair, his bare feet being touched by a man in a white shirt and jeans who bends forward at the front. Behind the throne stands a second man in orange robes with a wristwatch, and a red velvet curtain forms the backdrop. A small side table holds a tray with apples, flower petals and a water bottle, and a microphone stand is at the right edge. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure's long hair, saffron robes and rudraksha mala match the appearance cues, and the scene shows a devotee performing padapuja.2010-09-08July 07 20092009-07-07
