2010 - Photo Album +1 copiesSeptember 30 20102010-09-30Night outdoor satsang on a raised platform before a brick wall. A seated figure in orange robes with rudraksha malas and a microphone on a stand sits on a leopard-print cushioned seat, speaking to a group. Around him, many people in orange robes sit cross-legged on the floor facing him, several holding papers; a few are seated behind in orange clothing. A decorated red and gold ceremonial canopy hangs above with embroidered textile banners. Some listeners wear white. The scene suggests a discourse session, with the seated speaker's appearance not clearly established as a specific individual.2005-05-25A night-time outdoor gathering on a raised terrace lit by a bright floodlight at the left. Dozens of devotees in orange and saffron clothing sit cross-legged on the floor in front of a low stage. On the stage a figure in orange-saffron robes with a head covering sits on a patterned, zebra-striped seat, and several people in white and orange stand or sit around him. Some attendees wear orange shawls and some wear black head coverings. White tent-like canopies and a flagpole appear behind the stage, and a loudspeaker stands at the right edge. The scene looks like a satsang or discourse.2010-10-01Evening outdoor gathering at a riverside or open-air site with string lights overhead. A seated figure in orange robes with long dark hair tied back sits cross-legged on a white-draped raised seat, one hand raised mid-gesture as if teaching. Before them, a younger person in orange robes kneels on a woven mat, and a row of men in white dhotis and white shirts sit on yellow mats to the right, one with palms pressed together. A small wooden item and a folded white cloth lie on the seat. Additional white-clad people stand at the top edge.A photograph of an outdoor satsang seated before a raised platform draped with a colourful embroidered textile canopy.
