A festival procession moves along a dirt road under a clear blue sky. At the centre, an ornate golden ratha/chariot canopy with orange and gold umbrellas carries a decorated figure, pulled by a crowd. Many people in white and cream clothing walk alongside, some women in white saris with orange borders, and several men in white kurtas. Red and orange flags and decorative poles surround the procession. The chariot, or ratha, is topped by an orange canopy with gold and yellow drapery and flower garlands, with a small figure visible inside. Many participants wear white dhotis and shirts, while women wear saris in yellow, pink and green. Several men at the front carry ceremonial golden fans and a tall golden staff, and one man in orange robes walks near the left edge. Some people hold their hands in anjali mudra, and others carry cloth bags. A camera operator films from the right, and a tour bus and loudspeakers stand in the background among trees and buildings.
