A photograph of a standing man in a long saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair and a large pink and white flower garland around his neck, holding a lit oil lamp or arati flame toward a blue shrine. The shrine holds a small figure of a seated deity wearing a gold crown and white flower garlands, and another small seated figure in saffron clothing is placed on a yellow cloth beside it, with an offering tray of fruit, plates and flowers in front. Behind him, a group of people in white and saffron clothes stand with hands folded, some in a room with green walls and a pinned photo board. The scene appears to be a puja or aarti at a shrine, with a painted wall mural at right.

A woman in a long orange robe with long dark wavy hair stands in a hall before a shrine, holding a lit flame and a small metal vessel as she performs aarti. The shrine table holds brass oil lamps, fruit, a garland-draped framed picture and flower petals. Behind her, a few people in white and orange stand with hands pressed together in prayer, and a uniformed man stands near a glass partition beside ceiling fans.

A photograph of a home shrine with a white arched canopy decorated with green leaf garland and gold trim. A woman in an orange sari with a white and red flower garland holds a silver tray of pink flower petals and offers them toward the shrine. A man in an orange robe with a dark sash holds a lit oil lamp in one hand and a flame offering in the other. A bald priest in orange kneels in front, and a man in white with a rudraksha mala stands at right with hands folded. Framed deity pictures hang on the walls, including a gilt-framed Balaji image, a Krishna picture at left, and a lit oil lamp inside the shrine. Marigold garlands decorate the shrine.

A photograph inside a home shrine room with white walls and a white arched niche decorated with green mango-leaf festoons. A woman in an orange sari wears a white and red flower garland and holds her hands over a flame, while a young man in orange robes holds a lit lamp toward the shrine. A bald man in orange sits in the foreground near a brass tray of pink flowers and fruit. Framed deity pictures hang on the niche, including a Venkateswara-style image with a gold frame and flower garlands, and a painted child deity on a side wall scroll. A glass display cabinet holds brass and steel vessels, and fruit and offerings sit on a table at left. A man with folded hands stands at the right edge.

A photograph inside a plain white room with a tiled floor, a barred window and a wooden door. A man with long dark hair and a flower-garland of white and red blossoms stands in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, holding a lit lamp in a brass aarti plate, performing an aarti before a seated deity murti dressed in an orange cloth with a blue turban, yellow and red flower garlands and a white garland. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-like vessel, flower offerings and a small puja arrangement sit on a cloth on the floor. Around them stand several people with palms pressed together in namaste: a man in white shirt and dhoti, a woman in pink, a boy in a checked shirt, and men in saffron robes and rudraksha malas. The lamp-lighting and devotional posture suggest a puja. Probable Swamiji (probable) is the garlanded man performing the aarti, identified by long hair, saffron clothing, garland and rudraksha-style adornments.

A photograph inside a bright white room where a figure in orange robes and a red-and-gold turban holds a lit oil lamp (aarti) before a white seated statue of a sage wearing orange robes, a turban and a rudraksha mala. Rose petals are scattered on the white pedestal and around the floor, with a red offering plate and a small gold and red deity murti on a side table. Several devotees in orange robes stand with hands folded in prayer on the left, and a framed portrait hangs on the wall behind. A wall air conditioner and vertical blinds are visible.

No one in the scene is clearly identifiable as a person.
