A photograph of a devotee in orange robes and a red-orange shawl standing at left, reaching toward a dark stone murti seated on a gold-embellished throne. The murti wears an orange cloth, a large white and gold necklace, a rudraksha-style garland and a horizontal tilak, with arms raised, and is framed by a large gold arch and a garland of yellow, red and green flowers. In the lower foreground a framed printed photograph shows a man in orange robes and a beaded necklace seated in meditation, with a red flower placed before it. Several other people are partly visible at the bottom edge.2008-05-03A photo taken inside a white tent at an outdoor temple setup. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron shawl over his body, stands beside an ornate deity murti of Venkateshwara (Vishnu) that has a dark face, a white ornamented crown and a gold-and-white decorated body. The murti is draped in red cloth and marigold garlands and framed by a large gilded arch with carved detailing. A second gold arch stands behind on a stand, and a seated man in a dark shirt sits at the left edge with his arms crossed. A black cable coil rests on a metal stool in the foreground. The man in orange is visually distinctive, but no appearance-based identification is made from the photo alone.2006-03-01A standing figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe with a long rudraksha-style necklace stands beside a large deity murti under a gilded arch. A bare-chested man with long dark hair and an orange-saffron dhoti wrapped around his lower body reaches up with both hands to place a tall red-and-white patterned crown on the murti's head. In the foreground at lower right, the back of another person's head is visible. The gilded arch shows carved floral and ornamental relief. The setting appears to be a temporary tent-based ceremony, consistent with abhishekam or deity dressing.2006-03-01April 2008 - Kailaasa In LA EventsSeptember 27 20132013-09-272011 - Photo AlbumA black stone statue of a four-armed deity seated in a silver-framed niche against a bright red cloth backdrop.
