A woman in a white sari with a gold border holds a bouquet of pink, red and yellow flowers toward him. Several devotees in white clothes, including a man in a white shirt with folded hands in namaste and an elderly woman with grey hair, face him in welcome. A rudraksha mala is visible on one man's neck. Trees and a building with signboards stand in the background. The figure's appearance includes a saffron turban, orange robes and a flower garland, which is a probable Swamiji candidate.2008-07-28A photograph taken outside a building with pillars beside a silver minivan. A man in orange robes with long, swept-back dark hair stands at the centre, wearing a white floral garland and a red-flowered garland, smiling as people bow to him. A man in a white shirt bends low and reaches toward his hands, while others in white shirts and formal clothes stand around. Two women in saris with jasmine flowers in their braided hair lean forward, and a young man in a maroon shirt stands at the right. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair and orange saffron robes with garlands, seen as a person being honoured by devotees, not a crowd count of the event.2010-02-14A photograph at an outdoor roadside gathering beside a silver minivan with its side door open. A person in an orange turban, orange garment over white clothing, and long dark hair sits inside the vehicle, smiling. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis stand around the open door, holding flower garlands and a wrapped gift bundle in patterned cloth. A concrete block wall and a crowd of people in white stand in the background under a cloudy sky.2008-07-28Outdoor street scene in a crowded village setting. A person wearing a bright saffron-orange turban and orange shawl stands at the centre, smiling, surrounded by many devotees pressing forward with hands raised in namaskar and reaching out. Behind them a silver SUV is parked, its windows open and people peering in. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand nearby as helpers. A banner on a stand behind the crowd shows a portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" beside Tamil text. Banana plants, a flagpole with saffron flags and shop frontages line the road.2008-07-28A photograph of a street scene on a paved road beside parked silver cars under a cloudy sky. In the centre, a figure in a long saffron-orange robe and a matching orange turban, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala, walks with palms pressed together in greeting. Around them, men in white shirts and white dhotis greet with folded hands and bowed heads; one man wears a yellow rosette. Palm trees and low white buildings line the road behind them. The figure has distinctive saffron clothing, long hair, and a mala, so the appearance-based candidate is a person, walking and greeting visitors on the road.2007-08-17A smiling man in saffron-orange robes and a saffron turban stands beside a silver vehicle on a roadside under a pale sky. He wears a long garland of white flowers with pink, purple and green threads, a heavy gold chain and a red tilak on his forehead. Several people in white shirts and dhotis surround him, one bending forward in the foreground, and a boy in orange clothing with a red mark on his forehead stands at right. A roof rack is visible on the vehicle behind.2007-02-06A outdoor photograph beside a silver SUV under a canopy strung with coloured tassels and paper decorations. A man in an orange turban, orange robe and gold necklace, garlanded with white flowers bordered in pink, green and blue, smiles broadly and raises his hand in greeting. Facing him, an older man in white shirt and dhoti with glasses presses his palms together in namaste. Another man in white clothes with a beaded necklace stands behind, and a fourth man in a white shirt is at the left edge, with more people partly visible at the right.2007-02-06July 10 20092009-07-10Outdoors on a paved road beside a silver SUV, a man in an orange saffron shawl over a red top, wearing a long white and red flower garland, smiles while a man in white kurta bends forward to greet him.
