Night gathering under a tent ceiling strung with small warm fairy lights. A large crowd of young boys in white kurta-style clothes, some with red or orange sashes, move and dance closely together in an open area. In the upper right, a long-haired man in white clothing with an orange-red shawl stands near a large drum, with a drum stick in hand. Another person in white stands behind a wooden panel at the back. A cymbal-like percussion instrument is raised by a boy in the centre.

Night photograph of a temple-ground procession with a large crowd. In the foreground, several boys in saffron-orange dhotis, orange turbans and rudraksha malas play large silver drums with sticks, bare-chested with white markings on their arms and chests. Behind them, more young players in orange and devotees in white dhotis and white clothing stand in the courtyard. A yellow umbrella and lit lamps appear at the upper right, with a pillared shelter behind the crowd.

Night photograph of a procession on a dirt ground beside palm trees, with a tall pole topped by a decorated kalasha-like finial and streamers at left. A row of men in white dhotis and shirts, some with folded hands in namaskar, stand facing inward. Several drummers in white and dhoti play barrel drums. At the right, a figure in a long saffron/orange robe with a rudraksha mala stands with long, swept-back hair, a distinctive appearance that matches a probable Swamiji candidate in the procession. Additional people in white and orange stand further back near parked vehicles.

Night photograph of a procession on bare ground beside palm trees. A figure at far right wears an orange saffron robe, long dark curly hair, and a rudraksha mala, and walks with a distinctive swept-back look; this appearance-based candidate is labelled Swamiji (probable) as a procession leader. Nearby, men in white dhotis and shirts walk in step, some with hands folded in namaskar, and drummers in white dhotis beat large drums. A couple of men in white carry or accompany the group near a tall decorated flagpole or kalasha-topped pole on the left. Dark trees and a parked vehicle fill the background.

A photograph of an outdoor procession on a dirt road lined with trees. Several drummers in white dhotis and white shirts play barrel drums, one with a bare chest and rudraksha-style beaded necklace. A young man in a white shirt and dhoti dances with his arm raised. Behind them a large crowd of mostly young men and women in white and cream traditional clothing, some with yellow and orange borders, walks forward. Many carry orange-red flags with a blue emblem. Dense trees and a red-roofed building fill the background. No individual is identifiable as a person; the scene shows devotees and drummers in a festival procession.

Night photograph of a crowd of men and boys in white dhotis and white shirts dancing energetically on a dirt ground, arms swinging and legs kicking mid-motion. A man in the centre wears an orange-red shawl over white clothes and a garland-like necklace, standing amid the dancers. Some men wear gold-bordered dhotis and rudraksha-style beads. Bright lights glow at the upper right. The scene suggests a festival procession or celebratory dance during the Mahashivaratri observance, with about thirty visible people.

Outdoor scene on a sandy ground beneath palm and leafy trees at an ashram. A group of boys and young men in white kurta-style clothing play percussion and wind instruments: a young man in front holds a large brass-rimmed drum, a boy in the centre holds a small brass drum, and others play a flute and small cymbals. A young man wears an orange shawl over his white clothes, and a boy has a red mark on his forehead. Small white ashram buildings and a purple banner are visible in the background.

Night-time outdoor photo of a large group dancing on a paved courtyard lit by floodlights. Many saffron and orange robed monks, some bald and bare-shouldered, move in rows alongside people in white kurtas and dhotis and some in plain shirts. A small boy in a grey shirt and khaki trousers dances in the centre. Foreground onlookers include a woman with hair in a bun wearing an orange sari with gold border, holding a red stick. Trees and a low shed roof frame the background.

A night procession on a dirt path. Two drummers in the foreground play large barrel drums, one in a red-and-white checked shirt and white dhoti, the other in a light blue shirt holding a small hand cymbal. Behind them, a central figure in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala walks under a fringed umbrella-style canopy with red trim, flanked by devotees in white dhotis and orange shawls. A man in white on the right carries a red kalasha pot on his head, and others carry brass lamps on poles. Dark trees and scattered lights frame the scene.
