Several people in saffron and orange robes stand and kneel around a red-covered table holding brass and gold-coloured ritual vessels and items. In the centre, a man in a saffron robe with a long-haired, bearded appearance and a gold necklace stands with hands folded in front of him, while a woman in an orange robe with white markings stands beside him. A man in orange robes with long swept-back hair and a dark rudraksha mala stands centre, holding a sheaf of papers and extending his hand in blessing toward a kneeling man in a white shirt who bows with his palms pressed together. Behind them, men in white and light clothing watch and smile. At right, a bald man in orange robes holds a brass and gold ceremonial staff wrapped in an orange cloth. Beside him, a woman in a white sari with an orange shawl kneels with hands folded near the seated figures. On the left, a standing attendant in white with an orange shawl holds a long ceremonial umbrella with tasselled canopy. Other figures in white dhotis and orange shawls stand in the background, and a man in a grey sofa in orange clothing sits at the lower left edge.2007-02-10A photograph of a ceremony in a hall with a projector screen and a decorated backdrop.
