Outdoor photo on a dry, cracked riverbank beside a wide brownish river under hazy sky, with green shrubs and trees. A man in a plain white kurta with a dark rudraksha-style mala stands at centre, looking down. Around him men stand and kneel: a man in a red polo shirt, a man in a light blue shirt and dark trousers wearing a mala, a man in a white shirt at right, a man in a white vest and green lungi on a phone, and a seated man in a white shirt writing on a paper pad at lower centre. Scattered stones and sticks lie on the ground. Several people are visible, the central figure has no distinctive crown, saffron or ornate cues, so identity is uncertain.Outdoors on a dusty riverbank at a flood-damaged site, a group walks over packed earth and rubble beside a wide brown river. A broken concrete structure with a white railing stands at the right, with pink ropes running across the scene. In the centre, a man in a white kurta with a mala necklace walks forward, flanked by a woman in a dark patterned salwar and a woman in white. Other men in white shirts and a man in an orange cap stand nearby, and more people in white and dhotis are visible on the embankment behind, some carrying sticks. Dry shrubs and trees line the far bank under a pale sky.September 2006 - Sindhanur flood reliefOutdoor photograph on a reddish-brown dirt ground beside a heap of gravel rocks, under an overcast sky with palm trees on the horizon. In the foreground a man in a white shirt faces right. Behind him stands a man in an orange-saffron robe with a beaded necklace of ornaments, hair swept back, hands at his sides, with a bare-footed man in white kurta beside him. Further right, a barefoot man in white kurta and white dhoti stands near the rocks, and several other men in white and in pale shirts stand or bow their heads in the background.2005-11-13Outdoor scene at a rocky, scrubby site with gravel piles and a small green shrub in the foreground. Five men stand on sandy ground: four in white shirts or kurta-style white clothing, one of them with a rudraksha-style beaded mala around his neck and another holding a rolled paper, and a man in white shirt and trousers with a belt holding papers. On the right, a figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears a saffron/orange shawl and wrap, bare-shouldered, and gestures while speaking. A white-clad man stands at the far right edge. A small blue sign on a post sits at left. Behind them are boulders, bushes and a sign board. Several men in white wear orange shawls draped over their shoulders.2006-10-07November 23 20062006-11-23Outdoor photo of a group of about 15 men on a dry, grassy open field with low hills and trees behind them. In the centre a person in a saffron-orange robe with a long orange-and-gold beaded necklace and long, loose hair stands beside a large rounded boulder set on red earth. Most surrounding men wear white shirts and white dhotis or kurtas, with some in checked shirts and lungis. A small white vehicle is parked in the distance.2005-11-13November 13 20052005-11-13September 18 20142014-09-18April 01 20082008-04-01April 05 20082008-04-05February 12 20072007-02-12 +1 copies
