Its lattice of diagonal beams and riveted members runs diagonally across the frame, with a concrete abutment and retaining wall on the left and a narrow road deck visible beneath. Steep slopes covered in dense green shrubs and trees rise behind it, and a few small grazing animals are visible near the base of the left abutment. No people are visible.2007-07-11June 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copiesA photograph of a green steel truss footbridge spanning a deep forested gorge in the Himalayan foothills. Dense green trees and shrubs cover the steep slopes on both sides. A group of about twenty pilgrims, several in orange and yellow rain gear and some carrying bags, walk across the bridge. A white metal railing with red-painted posts runs along the path in the foreground, and a few people stand near a rock face with a small roadside shrine on the far side.2008-06-30 +1 copiesMay 24 20062006-05-24June 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copiesMay 24 20062006-05-24June 30 20082008-06-30January 19 20142014-01-19A photograph of a green steel truss footbridge spanning a steep forested gorge in the Himalayan hills. A line of pilgrims, several in orange and saffron clothing, walks across the bridge deck, with more people gathered on the rocky path at the far end. Grey-blue lattice girders and diagonal bracing frame the view. A white minibus with a blue-lettered sign on its rear travels away from the camera toward the far end of the bridge. Steep green-forested hillsides and bare rocky slopes rise on both sides, with a small green road sign on the right.2009-10-12
