Most wear white shirts and dhotis or trousers, and several hold up mobile phones to record. In the upper centre, a figure in an orange-saffron garment with a red cloth stands above the crowd near a vehicle, but the face and adornments are not clearly visible, so the identity cannot be confirmed. Some people in the foreground are looking toward the camera. The scene suggests a darshan gathering outdoors.2014-07-01June 27 20142014-06-27Night-time street photograph of a crowd of men gathered outdoors under orange street lamps, apparently awaiting a procession or arrival. In the foreground a man in a white shirt with a dark bead necklace stands at right with his hand raised, beside a young boy in an orange patterned shirt with a dark cord around his neck. Other men in pale striped and white shirts stand close together, some with their backs to the camera. A dark signboard with ornate scrollwork and partly legible lettering sits at left, and illuminated signs appear in the background. No recognisable face-based identification is made; the scene shows ordinary devotees in a dim outdoor setting.2008-07-28June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesJune 27 20142014-06-27Night procession on a dirt road at a temple-like site, with a large crowd of men dressed in white dhotis and white shirts, many holding their hands together in devotion.
