A seated figure with folded hands sits on an ornate gold-trimmed throne (peetha) with a red velvet seat, framed by a rainbow-coloured floral garland arch of red, yellow, purple and white flowers. He wears a saffron turban, a red-and-gold dhoti and a garland of white and yellow flowers draped around his neck, with gold bracelets on his wrists. Flanking him are two painted dvarapala guardian figures with raised arms holding a trident and a fan-like object, dressed in orange and green. Behind is a gold-and-brass shrine with lamps and a golden kirtimukha-style arch. A pada-puja setting is suggested by the throne ceremony. The person is shown in an appearance-based candidate role; identity is not established by the image. Flanking the throne are two gold-coloured guardian figures with multiple arms holding ritual objects, and gold lion-shaped armrests.
