May 24 20162016-05-24A smiling man in orange and saffron silk sits on a gold throne draped with multicolored marigold and rose garlands, with a white turban-style headpiece and a rudraksha mala around his neck. An attendant in white kurta and cream dhoti, wearing a gold bangle, pours loose yellow and orange flowers from a woven basket over him, with more petals scattered in the foreground. The man's orange and saffron clothing and ornate garlanded throne suggest a person presence receiving a flower shower, a common honouring ritual at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam events. The setting is a hall with dark red drapes behind the throne.2012-01-01A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne flanked by two gold lion-shaped armrests with red cushions. Behind him, a younger man in white dhoti with a red sash and a hair knot holds a large brass plate piled with pink petals above the seated man's head during a pushpabhishekam. A golden trident stands at the left edge. The seated man wears rudraksha-style bead ornaments, gold necklaces and gold bangles, and smiles.
