In the upper centre a rectangular metal fire pit holds grey ash and burnt remnants. Below it, a brass kalasha-style pot wrapped in mesh is decorated with yellow and white flowers and green mango leaves, set on the mat. Scattered petals lie on the white tiled floor, and a bowl of yellow marigold flowers sits at the lower left. No people are visible.2008-11-28A brass kalasha pot wrapped in white thread stands on a green banana leaf scattered with yellow marigold petals and grated coconut. Mango leaves and a yellow cloth rise from its mouth. Blurred in the background, a figure in orange robes and brass vessels suggest a ritual setting, possibly a homa or puja preparation at an ashram.2008-10-27October 18 20102010-10-18 +2 copiesPhoto 11737205A brass kalasha pot wrapped with white thread lattice stands on a brass plate ringed with yellow marigold blossoms and a sprinkling of white grains. The pot sits on a brass plate. Blurred orange and white robes in the background suggest a ritual setting, but no person is clearly visible. The image appears to be a photographed scene of a kalasha used in a ceremony.2015-11-18July 10 20132013-07-10
